There are many ways the Language Centre can help you during your time at LSE. Whether this be in learning or improving a second or third language, with English support during your studies or even taking a language as part of your undergraduate degree. If you are new to LSE take a couple of minutes to view the film above and see how we can help you maximise your potential. Why not take a language as part of your degree? Certificate Courses; click here for the menu of Arabic, French, Spanish, Mandarin (Mandarin), Japanese, Italian, Turkish, Greek, Russian, Portuguese and German. These courses run each year from October/November through to May/June. They are designed for LSE students but open to everyone. Enrolment begins in September each year with priority for LSE members. English for Academic Purposes (EAP) support for students of LSE; Departmental Support, Workshops as well as Study Skills programmes. The support starts as soon as your studies at LSE do and continues throughout. Our English courses are British Council Accredited; we offer an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Foundation Programme, an EAP Presessional Programme and Business Presentation Courses throughout the year. We also offer 'Executive Languages' private tailored 1-2-1 business English and group tuition specific to the needs of you and/or your company.
