Fiona Holland
short biography
Fiona Holland is managing editor of the Global Civil Society Yearbook at LSE, responsible for all aspects of the uniquely participatory editorial process, and the accompanying series of lectures, seminars and conferences. Prior to joining LSE, she edited Orbit, which in 2001 won ‘best magazine’ in the One World Media Awards. In addition to various editing and reporting roles, Fiona has curated exhibitions on cultural exchange, Northern perceptions of developing countries, and political cartoons and graphic novels. Currently she is working on Viewing Restricted**, a photographic initiative exploring the politics of poor people's representation. She has a Masters in Development Studies from LSE, and is studying towards a World Arts Diploma at Birkbeck College.
