Centre for Research into Economics and Finance in Southern Africa (CREFSA)
A new CREFSA website is currently under construction
Established in 1990, CREFSA is a centre for independent research into economic and financial sector policy in Southern Africa. Centre research has focused on:
the determinants of cross-border capital flows and implications for macroeconomic policy,
financial regulation and financial sector development, and
regional economic integration.
The Centre's research activities include collaboration with researchers in Southern Africa as well as capacity building initiatives to improve the quality of policy-making processes in the region.
